Coloured Shapes is a 2-player deduction game where you race to identify your opponent's hidden coloured shapes before they identify yours. The game is currently in Public Beta.

Setup Each player has a board of 6 hidden coloured shapes drawn from a set of 9 — Red, Blue and Yellow versions of Circle, Triangle and Square. Two of your pieces are revealed to your opponent at the start, and two of theirs are revealed to you. One piece per player remains hidden forever (so you can't get clues on that shape!)

During your turn

  1. Ask a clue — select one or more positions on your opponent's board and ask whether a specific colour or shape is present. The engine answers truthfully.
    • Single position clue → tells you Yes or No for that exact position, and the elimination tracker updates automatically
    • Multi-position clue → tells you only Yes or No for the group. A No eliminates that attribute from all selected positions. A Yes tells you nothing specific — you have to figure out which position it applies to yourself.
  2. Make a guess — select a position and tap the coloured shape you think is there. If you're right, you get a bonus guess immediately with no clue needed. If you're wrong, it's your opponent's turn.

Winning T

he first player to correctly identify all 6 of their opponent's hidden pieces wins. If Player 1 finds all 6, Player 2 gets one final turn to tie.

Tips

  • Use single-position clues to build up the elimination tracker before guessing
  • Multi-position clues are useful for ruling out attributes across several positions at once
  • Revealed pieces are already eliminated from your guessing options — use them to narrow down what's left
  • The elimination tracker updates automatically — trust it!
